What is a Peshtemal?

It is a type of towel that is traditionally used in baths. It is lighter and thinner than other terrycloth towels, but they are highly absorbent and dry faster. In Turkey, traditional Peshtemals are mostly produced in the Denizli region, specifically Buldan village. Peshtemals are traditionally produced on a weaving loom and it takes hours of work to produce one Peshtemal.

What are the care instructions?

Most of our Peshtemals are 100% Cotton, some of them being 50% Cotton and 50% Bamboo. You can machine wash on a gentle cycle at 80°F / 30°C. Please do not bleach as this can severely damage the product. Tumble dry on low, low iron if needed. You can also hang dry; this product dries a lot faster than regular towels.

How much does shipping cost?

We have a flat rate of 10$ for our standard shipping within US/Canada. Priority and express shipping is calculated at checkout.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

All in stock orders typically ship within 1-2 business days.
You should receive an email once your item has been shipped. It may take some
time for the post office to scan and receive it.

Who are your shipping partners?

We ship with Canada Post and UPS.

Where do you ship from?

We are based in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

What happens if my package is lost or stolen?

Once your items are shipped, Casa Playa is not liable for lost or stolen packages. If your tracking number shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number for more information.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship within United States and Canada. But we are planning on expanding soon! Stay tuned…

Can I cancel or edit my order?

We try to fulfill your orders as quickly as possible, but if you made a mistake on your shipping address or ordered the wrong item, you have 1 hour to cancel/change your order. Just shoot us an email at contact@casaplaya.co

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We accept returns on all eligible items. You can return items that are unwashed, unworn, undamaged, non-final sale, with all original tags attached within 30 days of delivery. Please note the original shipping charge is non-refundable. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

What if I closed my card/bank for my refund?

Currently, we can only issue a refund back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If you have a new credit card, but the original account remains active, the refund will process back to your account. If the account has been completely closed, we ask you reach out to your bank first and email us for further assistance.

Where’s my refund?

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and processed your refund. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please be patient, it may take some time before your bank posts your refund.
